Every person's body is different and requires special attention and adjustments. Whether a client needs special attention on the neck or lower back area. Maybe a client needs to be able to have an hour to relax and talk; to have somebody listen. Sometimes those are the necessary adjustments needed for each client. We as Bodywork Therapists should help with the whole body not just physical ailments.
I love the fact that I can help each person whether it be just a listening ear or to help with a certain physical ailment. I take great satisfaction in knowing that when my client gets up off the table they feel better and I was able to help them work towards making their day to day life better. I am looking forward to working to better my education in my field. I want to be able to work with Oncology patients to help them feel better even for just a few mins.
I was born in West Virginia. Raised in Ohio and TN. I received my GED instead of graduating high school but that never stopped me from going back to school. Also. I am currently back in school pulling a double major: a Bachelor's in Complementary and Alternative Health and a Bachelor's in Health and Wellness; I am scheduled to graduate in 2016. I have a beautiful 13 year old son. He is definantly a handful, but that is what being a mom is all about. I love spending time with my son, but I do have to say that I love my "me" time A LOT. With my "me" time I love to read, watch movies and just sit and listen to music. I love sports but prefer football and hockey. Also, I love the outdoors. Camping, hiking, repelling. Just about anything outdoors.
